Delmar Imperial-Aubin, MSN, RN, CCRN, is a staff nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit of The Methodist Hospital, an acute nurse practitioner graduate student of the University of Texas Health Science Center, and currently the president-elect of the Houston Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Recent presentations include “ The Drip, Drip of CSF in TAAA Repair” (with J. M. Hyden) and “A Labor of Collaboration: Decreasing Noise in the ICU” (with S. Seeley, K. Knaack, F. Masud, & L. Armstrong), both presented in 2005 at the National Teaching Institute of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
