Paul Bonezzi received his bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Akron in 2014. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Integrated Biosciences doctoral program at the University of Akron training with Dr Jordan Renna. Paul's interests centre on visual processing and the electrophysiological properties of rods, cones and bipolar cells in the developing mouse retina. After completion of his doctoral degree he plans to transition into a postdoctoral position at UCLA to pursue his interest in photoreceptor research.
