Lay Summary
In the pediatric population, Rothia spp. bloodstream infections are more prevalent in cancer/hematopoietic cell transplant patients and frequently associated with prior broad-spectrum antibiotic use. These infections are commonly characterized by prolonged fever often without another identified infectious source.
