Julia Frost has a background in nursing and has conducted both qualitative and quantitative research, including qualitative research concerning women's experiences of pregnancy loss, operative delivery and decision making for mode of delivery following a previous caesarean section. She has a PhD in sociology from Bristol University, and is a Research Fellow in the Faculty of Health and Social Work at the University of Plymouth. She is part of the Preventive and Supportive Care Research Group and is currently contributing to a project on antenatal screening for genetic conditions.
