eFAST in Patients with Thoracic or Abdominal Injury

Extended focused assessment with sonography for trauma involves obtaining images in six focused views to assess for pericardial, intraperitoneal, and pelvic fluid and for hemothorax and pneumothorax. This video demonstrates the use of this point-of-care ultrasound examination.
