About the Author
Sherri Lee Simons is the Department of Defense Navy Implementation Lead for SafeCare Systems, a division of Apptis Healthcare. She is also a management, humor, and perinatal consultant and is the founder of Simons and Company. Ms. Simons has managed various clinical units, including NICUs, for more than 14 years and has more than 18 years of experience as an NICU staff nurse. She holds an MSN in nursing administration from George Mason University (1998) and a BSN from San Diego State University (1986).
