A Danish approach to mentorship and education of nursing students

Summary

This article describes a project that gave lecturers and undergraduate nursing students the opportunity to work and study in another European country. Although the model of clinical education used in Denmark had clear advantages, the funding and organisation of mentorship in the UK mean that it would be of limited value in the clinical education of UK-based undergraduate nursing students.
