Original research in studies of adolescent developmental patterns.
Multidisciplinary in scope, the Journal of Research on Adolescence (JRA) significantly advances knowledge in the growing field of adolescent research. Employing a diverse array of methodologies, this compelling journal publishes original research of the highest level of scholarship. Featured studies include intensive measurement, multivariate-longitudinal, and animal comparative studies; demographic and ethnographic analyses; and laboratory experiments. Articles pertinent to the variety of developmental patterns inherent throughout adolescence are featured, including cross-national and cross-cultural studies, and systematic studies of psychopathology. Developmental patterns pertinent to gender, ethnic, and racial diversity are also presented.
