On behalf of the Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society (AARES), publishes original, high-quality, applied economic research relating to all aspects of agricultural, resource and environmental economics.
The emphasis is on quantitative economics research, which is novel and policy relevant. Interdisciplinary research pertaining to agriculture, the environment and natural resources that has a significant economic component is also featured. AJARE is an international journal and includes studies that use empirical data from any part of the world. However, there is special emphasis on studies that reflect the Australasian, Asian, and Indo-Pacific context of many readers and contributors.
