COMPUTER-BASED TEACHING IS AS GOOD AS FACE TO FACE LECTURE-BASED TEACHING OF EVIDENCE-BASED MEDICINE: A RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED TRIAL

A number of interesting papers in this trawl through the journals. The paper on medical errors was well worth a read, for the issues it raises in dealing with medical errors and how they can be used to reach the students of the future. The paper dealing with ethically ‘inappropriate’ requests for treatment also gives much food for thought.

There certainly seems a role still for publications of studies in journals, and also to reflect on the impact of these on our teaching roles.
