is a Senior Lecturer in Midwifery at Thames Valley University with a clinical remit to West Middlesex Hospital, Isleworth. She received her Licentuate in Acupuncture from The British College of Acupuncture and her Licentuate in Oriental Herbalism from The London College of Traditional Acupuncture. She also holds a diploma in Cranio-Sacral Therapy and is a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Psychology. Her research interests are in the study of normal births, breastfeeding and turning the breech using moxibustion. Christine has lectured at the Beijing Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, The South West Hospital, Chongqing and The London College of Traditional Acupuncture as well as at conferences. She has experience of working in acupuncture departments at 3 hospitals in Beijing, China.
