Jake Jungwoo Son is an MD/PhD student at the University of Nebraska Medical Centre and Boys Town National Research Hospital's Institute for Human Neuroscience. His work uses magnetoencephalography and functional magnetic resonance imaging to investigate the healthy development of and alterations to neural processes supporting executive functions in neurological and psychiatric disorders. His long‐term goal is to become a child and adolescent psychiatrist who researches the impact of trauma on neurodevelopmental trajectories of cognitive control and the emergence of psychopathology.
