Repair of torsion of the penis was attempted in 2 children. Complete dissection of the skin from the penile shaft did not correct the anomaly. Further dissection and relocation of Buck's fascia eliminated the torsion in 1 patient and improved the lesion in the other. Torsion of the penis cannot always be corrected by merely freeing the skin and dartos fascia, and it may require extensive dissection of Buck's fascia for repair.
