Clinical outcomes guidance highlights that a clinical nurse specialist is a necessary member of the multidisciplinary team within gynaecological oncology. Two clinical nurse specialist posts in gynaecological oncology have been developed within the North London Cancer Network. This article discusses the importance of these roles and includes results of a patient satisfaction survey.
