Abstract
Due to systematic and structural concerns, midwifery supervision has changed greatly to meet the needs of midwives and the service. To enhance quality of care for women and their families, the Advocating for Education and Quality ImProvement model was developed to improve the wellbeing of those providing care. Professional midwifery advocates provide this service, having undergone training to offer restorative clinical supervision. This article explores how the model has the potential to support midwives with their wellbeing.
