Jenny Gordon and colleagues report on an audit carried out on a pathway that had been developed to try and reduce the number of children being brought to A&E with constipation. Analysis of the data revealed that, since the introduction of the pathway, fewer children were attending A&E inappropriately, indicating that it was meeting the needs of health professionals, children and parents
